Hi! I'm Alison Laichter.

meet your guide

Over the past two decades, I've taught thousands of people, of all ages and backgrounds, how to meditate and how to craft a daily practice that sticks. I've been featured in the New York Times, Vogue,  Wall Street Journal, Haaretz, to name a few. I founded a meditation center in NYC and have led meditation classes at schools and universities, museums, farms, monasteries, and bars, from Mexico City to Mumbai to Brooklyn and currently in southern California and online. When I'm not teaching meditation, I'm often working with communities and organizations to create inclusive, accessible, and radically amazing experiences. And, you can usually find me in the garden with my partner and ridiculously cute kiddos.

You will learn meditation practices that integrate and elevate your experience as a parent, workshopping how to weave together real parenting challenges and meditation to explore your own personal version of the practice of parenting.

The 6-Week Program Schedule

Weeks 1-2:
Getting Grounded and getting
started 

Starting with personal reflection and assessment, you’ll strategize finding pockets

of time to meditate, incorporating your kids into your practice, and magnifying

the joy in parenting. Through simple and effective meditation practices specifically developed with busy parents in mind, group discussion and insight sharing,

and thought-provoking journaling prompts, you’ll create a personal meditation practice that is easy, nourishing, and sustainable.

Using your deepening meditation practice, you’ll strengthen your ability to get calm, grounded, and centered, AND co-regulate with your kiddos to help them get there, too- even in the midst of a meltdown. It’s basically meditation magic, and you’ll

learn how to access it anytime. With weekly group coaching sessions, journal prompts,

and reminder emails, you’ll be supported all along the way in growing your practice.

Weeks 3-4:
Growing Your Practice
(and yourself)

Working with the momentum of the first few weeks, you’ll workshop how to integrate

your meditation into daily life, including all the layers of identity and relationships. You’ll explore the way parenting as a practice opens up  possibilities of mending your own childhood experiences, fostering true partnerships with your kids, and truly becoming the parent you want to be, both in the present and in the future.

Weeks 5-6:
Evolving and Sustaining Your Practice 

How the 6-week program works:

  • Live weekly group coaching calls (via Zoom), led by meditation expert and guide, Alison Laichter

  • Short video and audio guided meditation recordings to support your practice along the way

  • Digital meditation journal with tools for planning, reflection, and inspiration

  • 1 hour-long one-on-one coaching session with Alison

  • Lifetime access to recordings of all sessions and meditations!
